Does the LACOTE-GUAM Group respects the ENVIRONMENT and the NATURE? The LACOTE-GUAM Group uses "green" energy obtained from a photovoltaic system installed on the roof of its laboratories and warehouses, with zero environmental impact. The installation of a condensing boiler allows a considerable saving of gas for heating, with minimization of emission of polluting substances into the air. The total insulation of the warehouse roof limits the dispersion of heat as much as possible. The selection of packaging and advertising material suppliers also took place by favouring those that adopt the most advanced Quality Management Systems (CSQ) and Environmental Management (CSQ-EC). The paper products used are certified FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), which ensures that forest products have been harvested responsibly and that they have been controlled from the forest of origin throughout the production chain.

How do

the GUAM Leggings work?

GUAM leggings exploit the slow-release microencapsulation technology on the skin of the active ingredients containing GUAM Seaweed. In synergy with the bioactive mineral crystals integrated into the fabric which absorb the heat of the human body and return it on the skin in the form of Far Infrared Rays (F.I.R.). Thanks to these technologies, GUAM Leggings improve skin microcirculation, decrease cellulite and skin adiposity. The results are true and scientifically proven.

The Far Infrared Rays (F.I.R.)?

Guam Seaweed containing the active WORKS?

The GUAM seaweed microcapsules active incorporated in the fabric, have a slow release on the skin. Their action is effective until the active ingredient is used up, which generally occurs after a few weeks of using the Leggings. The time of exhaustion is not constant and is proportional to the number of movements made during use (if for example it is used during sports). Washing the Leggings does not affect the microcapsules and their contents except to a minimum extent, provided that the recommended washing methods are observed. As for the emission of Far Infrared Rays, since the bioactive mineral crystals are integrated into the fabric, they continue their action for the total life of the Leggings. 

HOW TO WASH

the GUAM Leggings?

Leggings should be washed at a temperatures not higher than 40 degrees, without using fabric softeners, which can compromise the elasticity of the fabric. Do not spin. Do not put in the dryer. Do not iron.

NIGHT USE

Can GUAM Leggings be used AT NIGHT while sleeping?

There are no contraindications to night use. The fabric uses body heat to return it in the form of Far Infrared Rays and during sleep the body's natural heat decreases. This does not affect the release of the active ingredient of Guam Seaweed by the microcapsules, which maintain their action also during sleep, while the benefits of Far Infrared Rays will be lower due to the reduced body heat.

USE DURING GYM

Can GUAM Leggings be used during GYM?

Of course yes! Leggings is a comfortable opaque garment; among the various proposals of Guam Leggings there are also models created to sports. During physical activity, the heat emitted by our body increases and the bioactive mineral crystals integrated into the tissue will emit more Far Infrared Rays, with greater benefits.

in presence of CAPILLARY FRAGILITY?

Guam Leggings are not heating, they simply exploit the heat of the human body, so they have no contraindications in the presence of capillary fragility.

Can GUAM Leggings be used during the BREASTFEEDING period?

There are no contraindications to use them during breastfeeding.

PREGNANCY

Can GUAM Leggings be used during PREGNANCY?

As a precaution, it is not recommended to use Emana fabric during pregnancy.

THYROID

GUAM Leggings interact with the activity of the THYROID?

The treatment with GUAM Leggings provides a slow release of the natural ingredients of Guam Seaweed which remains localized on a superficial level, without affecting the thyroid. Therefore, there is no contraindication to use GUAM Leggings for those suffering from thyroid problems.

CREAMS TO COMBINE

It is necessary to apply some creams under the GUAM Leggings?

GUAM Leggings contain microcapsules releasing the ingredients of GUAM Seaweed onto the skin, which last for several washes and also depend on the use of the leggings themselves. When these microcapsules run out of charge after a few weeks of use, to continue to benefit of the synergetic actions between the properties of the fabric and the active of GUAM Seaweed, we recommend applying a seaweed Mud cream before wearing the leggings. We suggest Fresh Mud Cream.

CHOICE OF THE RIGHT SIZE

Have GUAM Leggings to be very tight?

GUAM Leggings are not shaping and do not have to tighten to be effective. On the contrary they should be comfortable because they must be worn like a normal clothing for at least 6 hours every day, for this reason they do not present contraindications in case of fragile capillaries or microcirculation disorders..

ARE THE GUAM SEAWEED TREATMENTS APPLICABLE ALL THE MONTHS OF THE YEAR?

Sure! GUAM Seaweed Mud can be used in all seasons of the year. 

FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT AND RELAXATION DURING THE TREATMENT

Is it necessary to remain still during the APPLICATION TIME of the GUAM Seaweed Mud?

No! It is not necessary to remain still during the treatment. Thanks to the transparent film or the TNT (Non-Woven Fabric) shorts, you will have freedom of movement and by wearing comfortable clothing you will be able to perform every daily gesture in freedom, taking advantage of this time to relax or to carry out normal daily activities.

SKIN REDDING/TINGLING

Is it normal after application of some GUAM Seaweed Mud to warn an evident TINGLING/REDNESS on the treated areas?

The heat sensation, redness and "active tingling" that can be felt during Mud application is subjective and depends on skin type. However, it is normal for the reactivation of the skin microcirculation in the area where the product is applied to have these reactions. We also remind you that in the presence of particularly sensitive and reactive skins, GUAM Seaweed Special Mud for Sensitive Skin is recommended, which has been specially formulated, as well as GUAM Dren Plus Seaweed Mud that does not provide heating effect.

The effectiveness of the product does not depend on tingling and / or heat sensations, which are completely subjective and can be felt or not depending on the sensitivity of the skin.

CAPILLARY FRAGILITY

Can GUAM Seaweed Mud be used if you have CAPILLARY FRAGILITY?

In case of capillary fragility, the use of the Special GUAM Seaweed Mud for Sensitive Skin and / or with Fragile Capillaries, whose composition is specific for the most delicate skins, may be more suitable. These muds act without creating any heating or skin redness in the treated areas. If the skin is not particularly sensitive and does not have capillary fragility, all the formulations of GUAM Seaweed Mud can be easily used.

CONSISTENCY OF GUAM SEAWEED MUD

I bought a pack of GUAM Seaweed Mud and I noticed that the contents were RATHER LIQUID. Is it normal?

Yes! It is normal. Being a product with natural ingredients mixed cold, we always recommend mixing the product thoroughly before each use, until it takes the consistency of a homogeneous mixture. This indication is also shown on the jar cap.

LAYING TIME OF THE MUD

If I leave the GUAM Seaweed Mud on for longer time than advised, what happens?

There are no contraindications. However, it is not necessary to exceed the processing time written on the package, since it has been proven that the suggested time is the ideal one for the product to perform its maximum effectiveness.

SUN EXPOSURE

Can you EXPOSE TO THE SUN after having used GUAM Seaweed Mud?

Exposure to sunlight immediately after treatment with GUAM Seaweed Mud is not recommended; it is always better to wait a few hours. If the treatment is carried out in the evening, the following morning you can safely expose yourself to the sun.

DEPILATION

Can GUAM Seaweed Mud be applied after WAXING?

We recommend waiting about 24 hours after waxing before applying GUAM Seaweed Mud, in full respect of the skin.

PREGNANCY

Is it advisable to use GUAM Seaweed Mud during PREGNANCY?

In the application of GUAM Seaweed Mud, the absorption of the ingredients remains localized in the upper layer of the skin. During this period, however, it is recommended to avoid products causing heating reactions, to limit any pressure changes, and to use in limited quantities substances with high skin penetrability, such as essential oils. For this reason, it is advisable to consult with your GP before starting treatment if you are pregnant.

BREASTFEEDING

Can GUAM Seaweed Mud be used during BREASTFEEDING?

Our products do not contain ingredients able to interfere with breastfeeding. In addition to this, their topical application as cosmetic does not imply systemic absorption but remains on the surface on the skin. If you have further doubts, we recommend that you to consult your GP.

THYROID

Does GUAM Seaweed Mud interact with the functionality of the THYROID?

No! They do not interact with thyroid function. In addition, the Ministry of Health encourages the intake of iodine, of which the Italian population is on average lacking, specifying that "IODINE DOES NOT HURT AND IT IS ESSENTIAL TO HIRE"

Can I use GUAM Seaweed Mud to SHAPE the ABDOMINAL AREA?

GUAM Seaweed Mud in the traditional formulation is designed to counteract the imperfections of cellulite, which occurs mostly on the thighs, buttocks and hips. The imperfections and fatty deposits in the abdominal area can be counteracted even more effectively by using the specific formulation, GUAM BELLY and WAIST MUD.
